Early National Sweet Pea Show, June, 2025

Pleased to be able to stage the 12, 9 and 3 vases of 15 at the National after the cancellation in 2024. My blooms were past their best this year, but very happy to come third to some fantastic entries by Darren Everest and Brian Bartlet, and to get the award for best vase of lavender in show with Karen Loiuse as well as winning the open bowl class.

A successful trip to Taunton Show yielded a silver medal for a vase of 5 Gertla Twilight and a bronze medal for a vase of 5 Mary’s Jomanda. I won the championship with vases of Rycroft Helen, Mary’s Jomanda and Hillcrest Jersie. This shows a two vase class of Oakwood Goldcrest and Weston Pirate.
